This committee will be responsible for formulating short and long term goals to enhance Affiliate Members’ ability to support the objectives and members of the Association, including maintaining an Affiliate Handbook which promotes and enhances the role of Affiliate members within the Association, presenting suggestions for new opportunities for Affiliate member involvement within the Association, assisting in coordination of venues for Association events, and coordinating a semi-annual Affiliate Forum meeting and quarterly Affiliate Orientation. Open to Affiliate Members, exclusively. This committee meets virtually.

Community Outreach Committee (Broward County)
The purpose of the Community Outreach Committee is to: create housing opportunities and partnerships with local not-for-profits, develop programs and activities that will enhance and promote the image of the real estate professionals and REALTORS as it relates to homeownership, explore and recommend partnerships with civic and shelter-related organizations that will enhance the REALTOR image and provide opportunities for member involvement within the housing related scope. Open to REALTOR® and Affiliate Members. This committee meets primarily in a virtual format, meeting in-person at the discretion of the Chair, not to exceed more than 1 in-person meeting per quarter.

Community Outreach & Events Committee (Treasure Coast)
The purpose of the Community Outreach/Events Committee is to coordinate and promote business and social events for membership, as well as evaluate Community Outreach activities for volunteer or financial support in the Treasure Coast area. Open to REALTOR® and Affiliate Members. This committee meets in-person.

The Emerging Technology Committee operates under the Association’s Strategic Plan and the guidance of the BeachesMLS Board of Directors. Its primary role is to evaluate and recommend potential new programs and enhancements to existing systems. The committee advises the MLS Committee on technology vendors and serves as beta testers for new MLS functionalities. Open to REALTOR® Members, exclusively. This committee meets virtually with in-person meetings as needed one to two times per month.

The primary purpose is to formulate short and long-range plans to enhance Association members’ ability to compete in the international real estate market. This includes, but is not limited to, developing an annual plan of programs and activities that is responsive to the members’ needs as well as assisting NAR and Florida Realtors® in delivering international real estate-related programs and activities, and develop methods to determine member interest in international real estate. Open to REALTOR® Members, exclusively. This committee meets primarily in a virtual format, meeting in-person at the discretion of the Chair, not to exceed more than 1 in-person meeting per quarter.

The purpose of the Government Affairs Committee is to proactively represent the interests of the Association and its members, promote and preserve the rights of private property ownership and work with the state and national associations on legislative issues, and communicate issues to local communities and REALTORS®. Open to REALTOR® Members, exclusively. All three committees meet in-person.

The purpose of the Committee is to review ethics complaints and arbitration requests to determine if, taken as true on their face, a hearing is to be warranted, pursuant to NAR approved policies and procedures and the administrative policies approved by the Broward, Palm Beaches & St. Lucie Realtors Board of Directors. Members must have been licensed for three (3) consecutive years. All members of the committee are required to complete the NAR or Florida Realtors®-approved 3-hour training annually. REALTOR® members must be current in their dues and Code of Ethics training, and must be in “good standing” with the National Association of REALTORS® in order to be eligible to serve. Open to REALTOR® Members, exclusively. This committee meets virtually.

The primary purpose is to review BeachesMLS rules, policy and system enhancements as well as consider member recommendations and requests. They evaluate new potential programs and/or review updates to current programs, and makes recommendations regarding MLS related vendor contractual terms. They are also called to participate in ad hoc task forces, focus groups and beta testing. Committee recommendations are reviewed by the BeachesMLS Board of Directors. Open to REALTOR® Members, exclusively. This committee meets at the beginning of each month for up to 2 hours either in-person or virtually depending on the schedule.

The primary purpose of the Professional Development Committee is to advise on the Education curriculum and review/approve new course and instructor proposals to ensure the education benefits provided by the Association are in the hands of the members it serves. The PD Committee is also responsible for new course development, both CE and non, for the RWorld Real Estate School. Open to both REALTOR® and Affiliate Members. This committee meets primarily virtually, with in-person meetings once per quarter.

The goal of the Professional Development Safety Subcommittee is to improve member awareness of personal safety and situational awareness for Realtors in their daily real estate business. Members will be expected to advise on the Safety initiatives of the Association in conjunction with the Professional Development Department and provide support in programming, materials, and promotion of Realtor® Safety practices. Open to REALTOR® and Affiliate Members. This committee meets virtually.

The primary purpose of the Professional Standards Committee is to: conduct ethics, compliance and arbitration hearings and make decisions pursuant to NAR approved policies and procedures and the administrative policies approved by the Broward, Palm Beaches, & St. Lucie Realtors Board of Directors, impose discipline, and conduct mediation & ombudsman procedures. Members must have served 3 years on the Grievance Committee to be eligible for the Professional Standards Committee. Members are required to complete the NAR or Florida REALTORS approved 3-hour training program annually. Members must be current in their dues and Code of Ethics training and must be in "good standing" with the NAR in order to be eligible to serve. Members must not have been found in violation of the Code of Ethics, MLS Conduct or any MLS Standard of Conduct Article 18 in the past five years. Members shall serve for three (3) year terms. Open to REALTOR® Members, exclusively. This committee meets virtually.

The purpose of the RPAC Fundraising Committee is to develop annual programs and activities that will maximize member participation in and understanding of the Association’s political action committee and its importance. Open to both REALTOR® and Affiliate Members. This committee meets virtually.

The primary purpose of the Standard Forms Committee shall be to review various real estate forms provided for our members' use and, when necessary, recommend revisions to said forms or the adoption of new forms to ensure compliance with changing laws. Open to REALTOR® Members. This committee meets virtually.

The purpose of the Young Professionals Network Committee is to formulate plans for upcoming activities and networking events in Broward, Palm Beach, and Treasure Coast hosted by the Young Professionals Network to strengthen working relationships between young professionals while growing their leadership skills and contributing to their Association. Open to both REALTOR® and Affiliate Members. This committee meets primarily virtually with in-person meetings once per quarter.
